2000 ram 1500 5.2 v8 automatic transmission is having trouble shifting from 1st to 2ns gear. It usually shifts on it's own but not till 3-4000 rpm. On the occasion it doesnt shift on it's own if I throw it in neutral and back into drive it will go to the proper gear. The rest of the transitions are flawless, only happening from 1st to 2nd. I had a new governor solenoid and another transmission sensor replaced (cant recall which but located near governor I believe) and the issue was fixed for about a week.

 

Might try the output speed sensor as well...... (at least it's on the outside of the trans....) Were the bands adjusted/filter changed while they were doing to governor stuff?
