Transmission swapping situations.
I have a 1998 dodge ram with the 5.2L, the transmission is about to go out in it *( no surprise) I am about to buy a transmission that came out of a 2001 ram with the 5.9L they're both 46RE transmissions. Are they interchangeable?

Yes, just use your electronics from your 98 Trans. Connectors and sensors changed in 99 somewhere
