Troubleshooting a miss 94 5.2 mag
Yes it is a 1994 Dodge Ram 1500 Laramie with the 5.2 l Magnum V8 engine... But from looking at everything I have looked at if I pull the carpet out of the cab and use a electrician's hole saw and very carefully put a hole as high up as I can without removing the dash into the left of the SRS component I should be able to get to it easier than the setup that has now. There is literally not even enough room to slide my hand between that firewall and all of the other things that are in the way.
Okay friends... I'm suppose removing some hardware is the way I'll do it eventually. (Got that AC thing to hurdle first)..Have to get set-up sort things out when I remove everything. ALL POINTS WELL TAKEN
TY SO MUCH AS USUALL.
TY SO MUCH AS USUALL.
I think there is plenty of room with everything removed
We will find out soon enough soon as I get this AC thing behind me. I will take photos sometimes photos speak louder than words and help more than an explanation on occasion. Not in your case of course but to another rookie you know. No need of sending a butcher photos of how to slice a ham you know what I mean 😁
QUESTION...How do I RESET the "FLASH CODES" For the DIAGNOSTIC TESTING process, on a
"" 1994 1500 5.2 L 2WD ""..... I got ALL the IGNITION parts replaced..(done it myself, wasn't as hard as I suspected)...HOWEVER, it STILL begins to miss AFTER WARMING UP @ IDLE ...AND... WHEN IT HITS OVERDRIVE IT CAUSES A SHAKE... Now as long as the speed is up and the RPM is up it runs fine and when you really get into it it'll get somewhere in a hurry. I'm hoping the engine codes will tell me something but it's not showing anything but a battery disconnect and a 37 and a 33 which I believe are old recorded codes. Any kind of input will help. But I was hoping to reset those codes to see if it picks up anything else.

Unhook the battery for a few minutes. Hook it back up and see what codes return. You will have 12 and 55 for sure. 12 is battery has been disconnected and 55 is end of test.
