Default 1995 vacuum line HELP

Hello all

this is my first time posting here but love this site have learned so much about my new to me Dodge Ram 1500.

First off my truck is a 1995 Ram 1500 4x4 with the gas 5.9.

So what I am looking for is a more in-depth picture or spec on how to redo the vacuum lines under the hood. I have pulled the factory service manual and it will give me pics of the 4x4 and transmission but not my ac vents and egr.

So I guess what I am asking for is a pic from under someone’s hood of how to run the vacuum lines or if someone has a diagram of it so I can get my truck running better then it does know.

Ever since the transmission shop put a new or rebuilt transmission in it has run like crap with no power and the vacuum lines are all screwed up.

thank you all for the help in advance.

You should have a diagram under the hood somewhere near the belt routing diagram. If you don't have it I'll grab a pic of mine for you

Hello WhiteAsRice
I have that Pic under my hood as well but I was trying to find a pic of all of the vacuum lines. I am able to hook up my PCV and looks fine but it is the lines for the AC and 4X4 that I can't seem to find.

It will allow me to hook up my EGR, AC, and Crusie control along with the valve on the throttle body as well.

I know most of the diagrams out there will give you a rough overview of everything but I was trying to find a more in-depth one. I just went to my friend's house and he has a 1997 but he is a 5.2, not a 5.9 which should be the same but looks different at the same time.

If I could get a pick of your lines that would be great if you have the 5.9 of 1997 and older.

EGR went away in 96, and they should be the only difference between those two.

Oooo
I thought they went out in 1998? But I guess you would know best.
The whole vacuum line thing is was frustrating on this truck. But I love the challenge to get it going just wish I had all of the diagrams to make it work but I guess that is the challenge with these truck.

I guess I also forgot to say everything was good till I took it to the transmission shop and had them replace/rebuild the transmission and had them also replace the vacuum lines for the transmission and ever since the truck runs like crap and has no power and it runs like it is going to rattle the engine out of the compartment.

I think for the 'other stuff', only two lines you need to worry about, one line that goes down to the vacuum switch on the t-case (should be white, I think, the green line is just a vent.), the other that runs under the cowl, to the vacuum reservoir, and on into the dash for the a/c controls. Should be a check valve or two between the intake, and the reservoir as well.
