Fuel leak? Help!
#11
If you bought the parts and did the job yourself, it shouldn't cost more than $25 in parts (piece of 5/16" fuel injection rubber hose and two 5/16" fuel injection hose clamps) - carefully cut off the existing plastic fuel hose with a sharp utility knife and install the rubber fuel injection hose and fuel injection hose clamp at each end. A shop shouldn't charge you more than 1 hour of labor to fix it. Most shops charge some sort of hourly labor rate. In addition, you might want to consider towing the truck to the shop of your choice if you aren't fixing this issue yourself. If you have AAA or towing as part of your auto insurance policy, you might have the tow done as part of that service to cut that towing cost back.
