Yeah! They try to make you think 2/3 row is better. Not the case in the aluminum radiators. Brass/copper is another story. I believe the stock one row is about an inch thick. The ones that say two/three row ones are less than that combined. There is a rad with three rows about 5/8 each row but it's like $400.

Did more research and read that some of the aluminum radiators sold on Ebay are fakes/imports. I have found versions selling for $160-$205 and all look the same with different brand names. I have seen others selling for over $900. Until now, I have never had an issue with the cooling system other than a water pump leak. The engine is stock and most likely will remain that way for the foreseeable future. I would go with the aluminum if I new that I was getting quality and the price was comparable to stock. I am leaning on a stock version from Napa for $160 (or a Murray from O-Reilly for $190) as they...
-are available locally
-I would like to leave town for the weekend and would prefer not to use my work Astro van while the aluminum ships
-I would be okay with the stock if I got another 100K plus out of it (or 186K)

You'll be fine with a stock replacement. No need to overthink it.
I got mine this spring from Rockauto for 100 bucks.

This.

Your original stock radiator lasted how long? You can expect similar longevity from an aftermarket stock replacement.

183000 which is amazing. I remember having my roadrunners radiator "boiled" back in the eighties at less than half those miles. It did give me the chance to polish the upper copper tank though!

I will purchase everything I need today and get to work!
