I have my 2001 ram 1500 it wont go in to park I have dropped the pan and looked in side and changed the neutral park switch replaced a grommet on the linkage by the shift lever still wont go in to park not sure why I have watched it shift from under the truck with pan off and looks like it shift good but wont make the last shift in to park. And when I think it's in park its actually in reverse. Any help please.

 

Disconnect the shift linkage, and see if you can shift to park by hand, down at the trans.
