Default delay wipers not working

I have a 1999 Ram 2500 and for years the delayed wipers will not work. I checked fuses, installed a new Dorman multi switch to steering wheel. i even checked for broken wires where the steering wheel tilts, but no luck. When delay is active, i do Not hear any clicking noise...no sound at all. The low/high speed wipers work fine.

Anyone know where i should check next? This is one of the last issues i'm chasing down on the truck.

I think the central timer module is what controls the delay wipers.... If you don't have a service manual for your truck yet, get one here.

Can the CTM be replaced with a used one or do they all go bad with age? If i search on the bay, do i need to match some numbers off the module? i assume a new one is expensive.

If you can even find a new one..... There are a couple different flavors, depending on what options you have. I believe the replacement also needs to be programmed to your VIN...... Get the part number off of yours, and google search on that. See what comes up.
