Default Jumpy from dead start

2001 Ram 2500. As I start from a dead stop i get this feeling like the traction is skipping. I'm easy on the gas, its not like I am trying to be quick off the start. The truck shifts smoothly. Is this maybe a sign that the transmission cluches are failing. That is just a guess

Oh will get that checked out! This started in fact after some brake work on the front. The brakes are much better but maybe not opening enough..front or rear makes no differnce I suppose for this jumpy starts I sense... Thanks

a lot of times it’s not actually caliper but either the slides or the brackets itself…..here in maine I work in a shop and every brake job we need to grind caliper brackets because there’s so much rust and not enough clearance for pads to slide so first time you hit brake the pads go in but won’t retract so constantly rub rotors…
