Default Shorty Headerrs

Have just installed 135.00 shorty headers to replace cast manifolds
headers are actually quieter than cast manifolds
gained performance in acceleration and torque
2 inch y pipes to empty cat to 3 inch to back
runs awesome
1994 dodge 1500 shortbed reg cab
5.2 delete fuel injection, 600 edelbrock., ...crower rv cam,..... eq ironheads 202 intake valves
scat rods floating pins,,,, Keith black hyp pistons

Where did you get the headers? I am looking for a set for my 5.9

Thumbs up headers

got these from pro tuning
the part no is hds-dr96v8
they come with ****ty gaskets and the wrong bolts
i used arp 1 inch header bolts
and remflex gaskets
i don't know how long they stay shiny
but they went right in, had to redo down pips went to larger size
they say they will bolt up to down pipes.....not..........

adolph, where did you get your valve covers! also I believe you state you're running a 5.2, if you didn't change you're down pipes would they have bolted up with out issues. I am in the market for doing some work to my 5.9. 96' 2x4 reg. cab.....

valve covers are current dodge part number
down pipes did not fit plus i increased the dia of down pipes

Those valve covers are Mopar Performance part number P5007617. I purchased these for my motor many years ago and I'm not sure if they are still readily available. I believe Mopar Performance part number P5249343 is the valve covers with the gaskets, baffles, bolts, etc. Hope this information helps.

Yes, the last part number is for the entire black cast aluminum small block magnum 10 bolt valve cover kit, however, the other part number is valid (may be available only as NOS) and is just for the valve covers only.
