Differ all you want. My 318 is the coldest beast in the world and has never, even towing over the Rockies in 100 degrees, even gotten to 200 degrees. I have to put a winter front on in the winter to get heat halfway to my job. There is so much room in these engine bays with plenty of stock radiator and huge fans to get any job done. If anyone has trouble overheating, there must be a problem with the components. I'm sure there's better parts and higher performing radiators out there, but these trucks sure don't need one.

I don't have oe rad to count what the factory ones had. Someone make a true three row rad that is bolt in replacement for the V8 one but it's $300. I was looking at a GM replacement that was almost identical to the oe rad just had different size hose. All aluminum and true 3 row(1/2 inch each row) design. Don't have the link available but you can look around here and find it.
That's Awesome. Ya maybe the radiator I have isn't the best one. It deff isn't stock. Was in good shape and got it at the wreckers for 40 bucks. I did run into a overheating problem when I was climbing mountain in the summer . I had to pull over the damn overfill tank was boiling and bubbling!! Then my rad hose collapsed. Not sure why it did this. Maybe cause I should of been in 4low not 4 high ? Anyways I've been worried about overheating ever since
it doesn't get that hot when I tow but man that was a freaky day
