Default V10 cooling

Hey guys , I was informed from utawesome that you can run a v10 radiator in this v8 magnum trucks. Has anyone installed one yet ? I know he has a video on YouTube with one installed. Just wondering if your able to use your same rad hoses and the tranny lines are still a direct swap?

If it fits I guess you could. Why would you want to? Stock radiator is plenty of cooling and they're only 100 bucks.

Extra cooling especially for towing. Rads seems dinky compared to the v10 and dieall ones

The inlet/outlet are larger than the V-8s. You can get adapters though.

I think someone else did this relatively recently...... But, for the life of me, I can't find the thread.

Interesting. I recently been speaking to utawesome and he is the one that mentioned it can be done. Whatever I can do to help with towing I'd like to add to my truck. If it's alot of messing around I might not attempt it. I already looked into a new v10 rad and there big money
just watching the wreckers now

Well i beg to differ, Depending on where you get it there could be differences. The last time i replaced mine i noticed the row count was more on the new one. This explains why the old one would never run cool in hot weather. The new one does better but still could do better. I don't have oe rad to count what the factory ones had. Someone make a true three row rad that is bolt in replacement for the V8 one but it's $300. I was looking at a GM replacement that was almost identical to the oe rad just had different size hose. All aluminum and true 3 row(1/2 inch each row) design. Don't have the link available but you can look around here and find it.
