Hey guys, I just topped my oil off because it was DANGEROUSLY low, I have a 1997 Dodge Ram 1500 5.9L V8; says the truck can take 4.9L of Oil, I only added about 3 maybe even less Liters.
However, my dipstick looks like this. IS IT TOO MUCH OIL?
Engine takes 5 qts maybe a little less if not drained completely. Best way to check oil is over night. At least let it sit a while and then check it several times for accuracy.
