1500 to 2500 t-case swap

Default 1500 to 2500 t-case swap

So here is my problem i i have a 95 1500 with an nv3500 transmission anthe the t-case is broke, my buddie has a spare from his 2001 2500. So my question is will they swap out, (yes of course i know the yokes are bigger an will need to change the drive shafts or well have them rebuilt by a driveline shop) i am use to working on fords this is my first dodge so i dont know if it will like ford does from 70s to 96

The 01 t-case won't have the provision for the Vehicle Speed sensor. Depending on what engine it sits behind, the input hub may want a larger output shaft on the trans as well. (diesel, or V-10)
