I have a 2001 V10 with a 47re. I have a chance to get a 48re from a 2003 v10 that was built. The 2003 V10 was only offered with the 48RE. Is there any reason why it wouldnt work. Obviously it will bolt up but would the electronics be the same? Thanks

 

Actually, I think it will bolt right in, hook right up, and work just fine. There might be a difference in the neutral safety switch, but, that makes kits to convert it back to the 'old' style.
