You will have to re-pin some connectors, and run the wiring for the data port, but, the rest will work find.

OBDII connector. On the OBDI trucks, it's under the hood, by the PCM. On the newer trucks, it's under the dash, between the drivers knees.

I have a connector under my dash exactly where you explained but its a 1995. Has it already been swapped!!

Have a look at the PCM, if there are three connectors on it, it's obdii, of there is only one big one, it's obdi.

okay so there is only 1 connector on it so whats the hook up under my dash doing there

Good question. Can you trace the wires, see where they go?

What color is the connector??

it is black and its mounted as if its for a computer scanner for like a obd2. Ill trace it back when its gets a little warmer outside later today
