Default .25 Amp Draw

I've been half assed chasing this draw. My meter was buried in my rearrangement mess. First was the battery stopped taking a charge, bought a new one because it was 12 years old. Of course the alternator stopped working a week later, replaced it, this was needed parts for this problem #1. About a month after replacement the battery died again, 4 to 5 times, the last 2 times the battery drained with it disconnected, turned it in and got another new one. This one drained too, hmmm. Long story short, this was a second problem not related to batt/alt replacement. Charged this battery and did an amp draw test, .25 amps. The 10 amp I.O.D. circuit was the problem after pulling fuses individually starting from the engine bay then to the interior fuse panel, .01 amps. I kept the battery/fuse hooked up and sat in the truck last night and saw a tiny bit of light coming from the glovebox light. Of course I couldn't see it from outside. It broke off from the bracket, unplugged light assembly and from the .25 amp down to .01 amp. whoo hoo.

Congrats on finding it and thanks for sharing. Electrical draws/shorts can sometimes be a real pain to track down.
