Default Passenger brake light out

Just noticed my passenger brake light and blinker in the rear doesn't work. Driver brake light and blinker , 3rd brake light and both tail lights work fine. Changed both bulbs on the passenger side and no changes. Any idea what the issue is or how I trouble shoot this ?

When checking to make sure I have good ground, where do I connect the other end of the test light ? Can I only connect it to the positive battery terminal ? And when checking for power, because its one brake light out where do I check ? Is there a single fuse for each brake light ?

Most test lights will test grounds and power wires. Pull one tail light and follow the wires to a connector. Test there. When you have the test light hooked to ground it tests power. When it is hooked to power it will test grounds.

Bought the test light but I think I'm doing it wrong. Checked under the hood fuses fine but having trouble with testing the brake light wire.. I hooked up to a bolt on the side of the tailgate and tried to test the socket and connector. Nothing lit up. I see minor and major printed on the socket corresponding to wires, what does this mean ? I have posted pictures of my socket and connectors.. Do they look like they could be the issue ? Im having a hard time finding the problem with this test light and I don't want to keep driving with one tail light. Any help or suggestions is greatly appreciated

that last picture is the one you want to be testing at. It will be attached to the truck.

When testing this area, where is the other end of the tester supposed to connect to ?
