Default Failed rear bed side support

On both sides of our '02 2500 long bed the body supports had failed, allowing the fenders to flap around for who-knows-how-long.

Passenger side failure. Note there's a second factory hole in the lower hem a little bit forward

Fatigue up high

Fatigue lower down from flapping

My Q&D repair (driver side shown): 3/4\" flat bar. Hole spacing is 1.375". Drill two holes 17/64" Reuse factory M6 bolt and then I used 1/4-28 with a locknut on the backside
