Anyone replaced your dash with metal because it's a waste to buy a $2000+ replacement kit that will just fall apart after a little while. If so do you have the dimensions needed to do a metal dash for a 2001 dodge ram 1500 slt quad cab 5.9L V8 magnum?

Does someone actually make a metal dash for our trucks???

The replacement dash tops are made of a different variety of plastic than the originals. More UV resistant.

 

Find a junkyard truck with a halfway decent dash, reinforce the underside with some fiberglass…..cheap and easy
