Default Dana Anti-Slip Engaged by Hand?

Can anyone confirm whether spinning one tire by hand, while off the ground, will spin the other tire in the same direction? Or not cause the opposite tire to spin at all?

I’ve been looking online for hours. Lots of theory, can’t find anyone who has actually personally done it. It seems the general rule is, open will spin opposite, lsd will spin the same, but it seems that’s not always the case. Whether because of worn clutches, no preload, or?

i work in a shop and do inspections so I spin tires all the time checking for bad wheel bearings…I have seen some vehicles spin only one tire, but not on ram pickups

Thank you that’s helpful. Any idea what would cause one with the anti-spin code to only turn one side at a time?

Broken clips and worn out clutches.

Sur-grip rears don't engage all the time. Turn one wheel gently and it doesn't engage. Turn it quick, and it engages.
