Default Sucking air and rough idle

I’ve got a 1995 ram 2500 5.9 gas v8. The fuel pump went out so I replaced that and after I put the new pump in and went to start it it made this loud screaming coming from the air intake so I took it all off and put it back together assuming I did something wrong and it did the same thing.I Checked the forum and people were saying the IAC valve might be bad so I went bought that got it in and nothings changed. Seen another post saying 02 sensor so I disconnected that and still doing what it’s been doing. Looking for any possible solutions but the cheaper the better. Thanks.

Can you tell exactly where the sucking air sound is coming from? If not, you can try spraying carb cleaner around the intake area to see if the idle changes when sprayed at a certain spot. Some common places might be the gasket under the throttle body, the PCV valve and/or hose.
