Default Need help!!

I've got a 1996 Ram 2500 5.9 while.drovomg last week I got codes P0300 P0303 P0307. Figured tune up time. While.roving cap the 2 screws broke, got new distributor. Did pull intake for ease of removal. Now all back together and it runs for 1-2 seconds and dies. Distributor has been set to TDC and the rotor is close enough to 1 on the cap where it should run even if a little crappy. Did I miss something? Any and all help.is appreciated. I'm out of options as to what it could be

The distributor needs be re-installed exactly as it came out, otherwise, the fuel sync will need to be set. That requires the use of a scanner that has the fuel sync function. You should be able to set the distributor location enough for it to run. Here's an example -

Ok did the fuel sync per the video with a multimeter and it runs. Runs now for about a minute and shuts down. Code P1391 is present. Does it need to synced further with a scan tool?

Intermittent cam or crank signal. Since you just changed the distributor, my money would be on the cam sensor. Can you put your old one in the new distributor?

Did you install a Mopar crank sensor? The aftermarket crank sensors don't tend to work well in these trucks. Also, did you change the cam sensor as recommended previously, as P1391 could be either of the two sensors going bad. Lastly, you will need a scanner that can perform the fuel sync function to get things set to where they should be.

P1391 Intermittent Loss of CMP or CKP
May be the cam sensor then, Did you clear the code after you replaced it?
