Default Grease to prevent corrosion

I replaced my 1995 ECU. There are a lot of connectors in that plug and I don't want it to fail. what kind of grease would be best to coat the connections to prevent corrosion and keep them dry? thanks

Dielectric grease. You can get a small or medium tube at auto parts stores. It's also called "Tune up grease" and comes in itty bitty packets, but those are a lot of work and really expensive. You can get really large tubes at Lowe's and Home Depot in the electrical parts department. In itself, it does not conduct current. It will promote current across a connection. I've also used it to lube hoses prior to installation. A little can go a long way. It's also the best stuff to coat your battery posts. Clean them nice and shiny and you'll have good connection for a long time. It's also good to put on your spark plug wires where they snap on the plug.
