trans swap ram
hello,
i have swapped out trans from 1999 durango 5.9 4x4 46re into my 1998 ram1500 5.2 4x4 46re. was running great then had as i believe pcm failure. obd will not read, all circuits went haywire, check all relays all good, fuel pump continuously running while key on. horn beeps every minute, odometer flashing. no spark. any help? or am i on right track and will need new pcm and will it have to be coded for durango trans?

What is the timeframe that all this happened ? Truck was running for a couple of months or only a few days ? One thing you can try is disconnect the connector at the transmission and see if the PCM comes back to life, also check if any wiring was pinched/damaged when the transmission was changed. While PCMs do fail more often it is a power/ground issue that makes them unresponsive.
3 days to be exact, I will remove connector go from there, I don't remember ground wire/cable going to trans.I will check out. I double checked and cleaned all connectors. If you suggest trying to find ground short , Im on it.
Thanks
Thanks
