Smile Frame repair on 2nd gen Dodge.
Wanting to start the rebuild on my 5.9 2nd gen Ram. I’m curious if there is a way to repair this.

Yes but in my experiences you will find much more. Id look for a donor frame to save money and time.

Heavy metal plate welded under it will extend the service life but I'd look for a solid truck with worn out mechanicals and swap stuff over. Basically, use your truck as a rolling parts supply.

Is this the only rust on the frame? It could be cut out and another piece welded in.
