Default TPS/APPS plug repair

Where can I buy the male end of the TPS/APPS sensor...one end plugs into the TPA itself and the other end does not have a plug as it splices into the wireing harness....dealer says not available... for any info.

Probably gonna have to go on the used market..... Car-part.com can find you the right year trucks, then you just need to contact the yards that have 'em, and see if they will send you one.

Try these guys as well. (no idea how good they are.)

Can I ask what your issue is? Is the connector damaged?

It should be a standard deutsch connector, however the number slips my mind at the moment

If your having APPS issues it probably needs to be replaced, the Timbo apps is the new style APPS and comes with the jumper harness to convert to the deustch connector, you could just splice that in

Can someone please tell me what the acronyms APPS (other than an app on a smartphone) and TPA mean? Also, any photos of these would be helpful, too.

APPS: Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor.

TPS: Throttle position sensor.

I think the APPS labeling comes from the diesel world or more specifically Cummins

Anything that does throttle-by-wire will have the APPS. So far as I know, none of the second gen trucks did that particular trick. Now, the diesel trucks may have one, or not, I don't know.
