Default Blinkers and Radio Stopped working

I am a new owner of 2001 Ram. Driving down the road yesterday and turn signal and radio stopped working. When I got back in the truck later they both were working again. Any ideas?

Default Another quirky thing or two

The blinker and radio problem hasn’t happened again. But sometimes when I first start the truck there is a buzzing sound coming from under the trim panel just to the left of the steering column. The buzz always stops when I turn in the headlights! Also this truck doesn’t have power locks but sometimes when I lock the door, the lock pops back up! I took off the door panel and their are five wires running to the door lock. Why are there wires running to a manual door lock? Could all of these issues and the blinker/radio issue be related?

If there is a wiring harness running to the door lock mechanism, it sounds like you have power door locks. Perhaps someone swapped out the door control and installed units that didn't have the door lock controls for some reason? Do you happen to have a photo that you can share of the door lock mechanism with it's wiring, along with a photo of the power window controls on the door panel?

Atomic Dog it doesn’t have power windows. Locks and windows are manual. But there are five wires going to the lock. And the lock pops unlocked by itself sometimes

It does sound like you have power lock mechanisms on your door lock if you have wiring going to the door lock mechanisms, but they just aren't hooked up via a switch on the door panel.
