Default Crack between valves

Hi everyone,

i have been working on a head gasket replacement. I noticed one crack between the valves on one of the heads. I can’t afford to replace the heads at the moment so I’m curious what would happen if I just put it back together?

thanks

Lots of potential issues there..... Misfires being the least of the problems, burning valves, and losing the cylinder being the worst. It may also crack further, and you start getting coolant into the combustion chamber. If that gets bad enough, you can hydro-lock that cylinder, and destroy the engine.
