Default Valve breather 1997 Dodge Ram 1500 5.9

So random question. There is pcv valve on passenger side. On driver side is the other valve cover breather or what ever it is.

so my question is the hose the goes from the valve breather to air cleaner cover has been disconnected for quite some time (about month).

what will this affect?
Or do I just hook it up and move on.
came to you guys because this has me nervous!

You want that hooked back up. That is the intake side of the PCV system, and you don't want to be pulling unfiltered air into the crankcase. It's just a hose though, so, hook it back up, call it a day.
