The springs in the EQ monster magnum heads should be enough for the cam specs, and according to everything I've read. I was just responding to Moparite's comment that I'd need better valve springs. I just want to make sure I'm not missing something.

If you look the cam up on comps web site it says needs different springs. It should tell you with any documentation that came with it.

valve spring 125# seat 315# open @ .575 lift max
Which should be enough

I didn't have a problem but I also use RTV on the China wall, I don't like the end gaskets.
Lots of misinformation by manufactures out there, Eddy says their heads are 58cc, that's what mine are after milling them .030.
