Baby seat mounting location
Hey guys wondering if anyone knows if there is hooks to mount a rear facing kids car seat in the back of a extended cab. I have a 96 1500 and can't find anything legit except 2 tabs under the folding seat that are mounted on the ground. I looked in the owners manual but it does not mention anything about attachment points .
As far as I know, there's nothing specific for the baby seat. It's been over 10 years when we had baby seats, and even back then they were so big that I could not fit one to the back seat, so I had it on the front middle seat. Little bit cramped, but wasn't big of a deal with the automatic transmission. It was wrapped around the seat cushion, and there was also a support leg that was against the floor.

How did you mount it in the middle seat ? What age was the child ? I have a 4month old so the seat has to be rear facing
Can't remember, but my younger daughter started to travel on my Dodge earlier than older, but might been around 3-4 months.
Forgot to mention that it was impossible to fit rear facing seat to the rear seat, so only option was on the front middle. Like I said, seat had belts, that wrapped around the middle seat cushion. IIRC, there was also belts from top of the seat, which pulled the seat down that helped to secure the support leg. Baby seat was also against the dash. Tried to look for a picture, but didn't find any.
