Swap has begun. The donor truck is long gone and I'm hoping I got all I needed off it. I did end up getting 5 quarts of redline cause having a hard time finding other gear oil to meet the specs that anyone has had continous good luck with. So far I have the drive shafts, cats, and 1 of the crossmembers out. Starter is out and torque converter disconnected. T case is just hanging now. Does anyone know what the vaccum ports are on top of the t case? I'm putting a posilock in for the 4x4 while I'm under hear. Is it just for the 4x4 dash light?
The vacuum lines are what engage the CAD. There is a vacuum switch on top of the t-case there, that changes which line is vent, and which has vacuum. If you are going to a posi-lok, you don't need any of that. The posi-lok will handle the switch as well. (its actually on the CAD housing.)
