Default Aftermarket air filter oil clogging sensors ?

Hey guys has anyone discovered that these aftermarket air filters like k&n or afe, air raid oil can suck up residual oil and gum up the sensors around the throttle body or it itself? When truck is at temperature there is slight bounce in the rpm when in park. I did the plugs and oil not to long ago and throttle body cleaned. I've cleaned the IAC valve but never replaced them cause there super pricey here. What does everyone recommend for brand of new sensors since now factory are not being remanufactured anymore maybe it's time to change them all. Truck drives fine I just like to keep it happy as much as possible.

Warning: Personal opinion follows ...

I consider most aftermarket intakes "engine dusters" because they trade off filtering capacity for air flow. That's fine for race cars and the like but not for actual truck use in dusty conditions. Some aftermarket filters do require oil coating which can lead to oily intakes if overdone. Having said that, I don't think that variations at no-load idle would be caused by a dirty or oily intake.

How does it behave when in drive and stopped ? If it's not noticeable it might just be the PCM having a hard time hitting the target idle RPM. My truck did have no-load RPM fluctuations for a while until I accidentally left the door open when it was sitting in the shop for some other work and it completely drained the battery. Maybe try disconnecting the battery and connect the battery cables to kill the PCM memory.

Might want to look at the pcv valve, It can cause both issues.
