Transmission sheared

2001 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4. I’m just kinda curious what could have caused this and if there’s a cheap way Of fixing it

T-case broke off? Replace the part that bolts to the trans. Probably the front case half. Or, replace the entire T-case.
