Mode $06 Codes: O2 Sensor and IAC Valve?
Hello,
My 98 5.2L manual RWD 1500 does not have a CEL on, but when I run an ODB Mode $06 shows:
TID $11 - Manufacturer Defined Value: 12 Minimum: 56 Maximum: N/A Fail
TID $51 - Manufacturer Defined Value: 1 Minimum: 254 Maximum: N/A Fail
TID $53 - Manufacturer Defined Value: 0 Minimum: 65527 Maximum: N/A Fail
Mode $05 Oxygen Sensor say Bank 1 Sensor 1 and Bank 1 Sensor 2 both available. The rest of Bank 1 and all of Bank 2 says "No". I'm in California, so I thought that I'd have three sensors total--is one not reporting? Bank 1 Sensor 1 voltage reports .34V and Bank 1 Sensor 2 reports .08V.
My thoughts are to change the pre-cat sensor and clean out the IAC valve. I don't have any particular problems with idling that I know of, but I am just a beginner at vehicle maintenance, so it is very likely that I no idea what I'm listening for!
Also attached is a Monitor Status Report and a Powertrain Diagnostic Data Report from ODBWiz if that is helpful.
Thanks!

$51 and $53 are only valid for non-LDP vehicles but the 98 1500 has a leak detection pump. If I can trust the 98 FSM the truck only has one upstream and one downstream sensor. I think OBDWiz can graph the oxygen sensor voltages, $11 indicates the upstream sensor doesn't report enough voltage swing when the PCM switches the A/F ratio in closed loop. See what the voltage range of the upstream sensor is. However I wouldn't lose any sleep over it if it doesn't set DTCs.
