Default lift kit

Hi Ive a 1999 5.7ltr 1500 sport 4x4 ive got a new set of 395 80 R20 tyres in my barn i bought for my Unimog, is it possible to lift my ram so these will fit, if so how high has it got to be lifted and what kit would you recommend, or are these tyres just too big, thanks for your advice

Essentially 45 inch tires..... That would require a LOT of lift, or.... some lift, and major body carving. Then you have the half-ton axle, with probably 3.55 gears..... Don't expect axles/trans to last very long.

Thanks for info, maybe not a good idea using those tyres, it was just a thought as ive no use for them, maybe stick to a normal set and a 4inch lift

Default 5in front coil and 2in rear blocks

hello everyone,
I have a 96 Ram 1500 LT 2x4 that I swapped out the 5.2l for a 94 5.9l motor due to oil leaking into the intake on the 5.2. I purchased a 5in front coils and 2.5in blocks from super lift and today I’m getting ready to put in the coils and swap out the exhaust tube off the passenger side to do the EGR valve delete.

The 94 manifold will have the same problem.... and the 5.9 is gonna run a bit lean in open loop..... 96 didn't use EGR, so yeah, you can just block that off.
