Default 01 ram 1500 noise while de-accelerating

So I have a problem with my truck. There's a very audible whining noise when I take my foot off the accelerator and coast. This usually happens at speeds 35+ but there have been a few times where it has happened around the 15-25 range. This is my daily driver and money has been really tight so any help with where to start looking or fairly inexpensive repairs.

Thanks everyone!

Check your rear axle. Is it full of gear oil? If not, add some to make sure it's full. Also, check for leaks from around the pinion seal, the rear axle cover and pull the rear brake drums to make sure oil isn't leaking around the axle(s).
