Default Flowmaster series

I want to add either a flowmaster 50 series or a 40 series to my 97 2500 V10. I will be installing a dual exhaust system as opposed to the single exhaust that it has now. My question is how loud will the 40 be in comparison to the 50 series inside the cab? Will the dual exhaust be louder than the single exhaust? Common sense tells me yes but i really have no idea.

I just switched my exhaust from a 50 series to a 40 series delta flow. The 50 wasn't loud at all, it actually sounded just like the stock system. So I switched to the 40 series delta flow and it made a big difference. It has a nice rumble at idle and sounds really good when I get in the throttle. In the cab, I couldn't really hear the 50 series. The 40 series is a littl elouder in the cab, but not to the point of being annoying. If you want to hear my truck with the 40 series, follow this link. http://media.putfile.com/Dodge-Exhaust38

Sweet!! Thanks for the advice. The guy at the shop told me that he would hook up both systems so I could hear the difference. I like the sound of your truck. I had a dual magnaflow exhaust on my 98 1500 sport, I wanted that cofiguration on my 97 but so far in town I haven't been able to find anyone that carries magnaflow in that configuration. Flowmaster is the way to go at this point. Again, thanks for the advice.
