With power going to coil and no spark, what am I missing?
Is the coil wire going from the coil to the distributor any good? Those can certainly fail.

What condition is the battery in(charged)? You should be getting the same voltage at the +coil that the battery has CRANKING the motor. Hard to tell voltage with a test light.

Not sure but will check. Also battery was at full charged. Noticed when this first started, the battery went dead I jumped it and all was fine for a couple days. then no spark. The other day I charged the battery to full and went to try to trouble shoot it 2days later and the battery was dead. Charged it and it was up yesterday, so will check it again. Sometihing is discharging the battery. But still no spark and fuel gage quit working at the same time I lost spark.

I dont know, never paid attentions to it. But I will check it out.
just checked it out. The tach does not move when cranking the engine over. The fuel gage does not register either, even thought truck has a full tank. Fuel pump is working fine, comes on when you turn on the ignition. All other gages work. The amp gage moves along with all other gages. It does have a brand new crank sensor in it from NAPA. Ok any ideas? Could the new crank sensor be bad? When the old on quit, we put in a new one and it worked for about 100 miles and had to be changed by another new one. It then ran fine and has now quit after about 50 miles, well if that is it. It was replaced with a new one from NAPA as I said and still no fire to the plugs.
Thanks

You need to get a meter and test voltage, And use it to find the parasitic power issue you have. Relays need to give power before any of the sensors come in to play.
