So I got the voltage on the orange/black wire (negative probe on the white orange wire) and I only got 2 volts. I'm not sure where to put the negative probe on the PCM though.

Positive probe goes into the pcm, black probe just goes to a good ground.

So I checked the wire at the button connector, and it only got 2 volts. As for pin 10, it got 2 volts, but when the button was not pressed. Did a key dance and got code 37, TCC solenoid open or shorted, perhaps this influences something.

Shouldn't have anything to do with it. TCC is a 12 volt circuit, completely independent of O/D.

If you are only getting 2 volts, need to find out why. Also need to find out why you get 2 volts even when the button isn't being pressed.... You have a couple different problems there, though, solving the voltage when button not pressed, might solve the low voltage as well.

Hey so I pulled the trigger on a new PCM, and it has fixed the issue, my OD works, my brakes work, and my cruise control works now. But it still gets a code 37, is this a serious code?

That's TCC, or trans temp..... If O/D is working, it ain't trans temp...... Does the torque converter clutch engage?

How would I know/test if the TCC is engaging?

If you have a tach, get the truck above 43 MPH, so it's in overdrive, and done shifting, then, step LIGHTLY on the brake, you don't want to slow down, you only want the lights to come on. If tcc is working, tach should jump about 200 RPM.

Can also do it in third, with O/D turned off.
