Default 01 1500 Sport 5.2L 2WD

I have a 2001 sport 1500 and need head light assemblies and brake light assemblies but all i keep finding r for 2nd gens W/O Sport package can I "down grade to the regular assemblies " witch r way F*****g cheaper lol ?? Wood they " plug & play" the same??

You would have to change some wiring as well.

How about these? I have purchased two sets from these guys, granted, they were non-sport headlights, but, quality is good, and years later, they still look new.

I can't afford it I'm trying to recover from wasting all that money chasing a air fuel problem put me hella behind on bills . What type of wiring wood I need do they make a plug and play?? adapter plug??

They make adapters for going to other way..... Don't know about going sport -> non-sport....

Sport package trucks have two, two wire connectors for the headlamps. Non-sport use a single three pin connector. So, you would need to move one wire from the high beam connector, to the low beam. It's entirely possible you would need a three pin connector as well, as I suspect they are different for four headlight systems.....

Ah gotcha makes sense now 🤔🤔🤔 wonder how much a headlight wire harness would be and just swap **** guess ima go to the pull apart after work 2morrow lol 😆 thank u for the info

Rock Auto has Sport headlights that fit your truck - about $55 each side currently. If your truck is a sport headlight truck, they will be plug and play...
