Fuel pump issues 97' 1500 Long Bed
Hello all,
I recently replaced the fuel pump on my 97' long bed truck, soon after I've been having issues in summer temperatures (70F and above Temps) and driving over small hills. When the issue starts the power from stepping on the GAS "bogs" down the RPM and there is no power for a couple of seconds (even with my foot on the GAS pedal) then all of a sudden, the power is back. I've heard there is a certain kind of fuel pump made for "long bed 2nd gen dodge ram trucks" Because of the 35 gallon tank in the long bed. Can anyone direct me to a solution to solve this issue.
Thank you for hearing my concerns.
