Trans not getting power, it will start in second gear, and won't shift at all. Rebuilding the trans won't fix that...... Your trans has an internal problem. You can either take it back to them, give them some time, (a month is too long...... since this is THEIR warranty, you should hear something back from them within a couple DAYS) or, you can pay some other shop to rebuild the trans again.....

I'm going to eat the money and warranty because I've had the truck to them three times with unsatisfactory results and I don't even want them touching it at this point. She's going elsewhere. I'd like to thank you all for your time and input. It's greatly appreciated

Just a thought - at a minimum, I'd log a complaint with the Better Business Bureau for that shop so that others can learn from your experience. You might also get some warranty recourse by filing the complaint, too.
