Recommendations Needed
1999 RAM 1500 4×4 5.2 LWB REG CAB.
222k miles. Recommendations please. Front and rear shocks (stock height)? Any need for dual front shocks? Steering Dampner? Any need for dual dampners? Also, steering box. Rebuild the factory, or? Related component recommendations? Currently has 265 75 all terrain tires, will probably go a little wider and taller when replacing (soon).
Mainly used for pleasure (highway), some use hauling #1000 or less, rarely pulling a load #6000 or less, occasionally used for mild off road hunting-fishing trips. TIA.

I think there is a thread with a poll about shocks in the DIY/FAQ section.
No need for duals, no need for steering stabilizer on a 2wd truck.
Steering box... Yeah, Redhead, blue top, borgeson... there are choices out there. (though I think some have stopped making them for second gens....) skip the 'reman' units from the parts stores, some of 'em are worse than what you are replacing.
