No not really: There is a pretty good description of the theory of operation here: https://repairpal.com/obd-ii-code-p0133 but it doesn't give any good steps how to the eliminate the different possible causes.

So I called the stealerships parts department and they said the bank 1 02 sensor before the catalytic converter is 300 dollars.

Figured I may as well replace it with the oem sensor but this is crazy.

does that make any sense? How could have be so much?

No, that's just insane. Go to your local parts store, get the correct NTK or Denso sensor for your year/engine. Should be under a 100 bucks. DO NOT get the Bosch sensor, it MUST be NTK or Denso. (both were OEM suppliers.)

Do you happen to know what the part number is? I don’t fully trust Lordco/Napa to get it right.

No, I don't.... Advance handed me the right part though. The only real differences between them, is the length of the pigtail, and shape of the connector.... See what yours looks like, make sure the new one looks the same.

Ok, so this is interesting. I keep reading and hearing reference to my vehicle having 4 02 sensors. 2 before the cat, and 2 after. My vehicle only has 1 inlet before and 1 after. No inlets or anything appears to be missing upstream or down stream. Also can’t find any unplugged harness connectors.

also, when I unplugged the ‘bank 1’ sensor(before the cat), my reader said bank 2 has been unplugged and a code came up.

So I’m wondering if the leads have been swapped, or if my Cat is clogged. I will update once I know more. My exhaust is too hot to work on at the moment.
