I have a 1998 24v and recently the wait to start light stopped coming on and occasionally has trouble starting, also had an issue when the throttle was lightly touched it would act as if the pedal was on the floor. Would cycle the key and it would go back to normal and doesn’t happen every time I start the truck. I’ve been doing research and come to the conclusion that either the ecm or pcm is bad but not sure which?
