Question Boost Sensor Question

If I just pulled the boost sensor on my 24 valve and let it hang would the truck roll coal? If I put a pipe plug in it's place to keep dirt out would that keep it from over fueling and negate any black smoke? Any negative effects other than being limited to about 2/3 power for example excessive soot buildup in the engine and engine oil?

Thanks in advance.

Why would you want to disable a sensor the computer uses to ensure the engine is running properly??

Just to try it once or twice for fun, not a permanent change
