Hello I have a 1999 1500 4x4 and the steering wheel still has a lot of play even after an alignment and it seems like I have replaced everything and I’m out of ideas. Here is the list of all the parts I have replaced. All of the steering linkages, drive shaft, Upper Ball Joints, Lower Ball Joints,Outer Tie Rod Connectors, Adjusting Sleeves, Front Track Bar, Outer Tie Rod End, Inner Tie Rod End, Front Sway Bar End Links, pitman arm, steering gearbox, power steering pump, wheel bearings. any help would be greatly appreciated!it just has a lot of play to the point it is kinda scary to drive

 

What about the drag link? That was one of the first things i replaced on mine. Also how much slop do you have in the gear box?

Where did the steering box come from?

 

Is the steering box intermediate shaft in good condition?

 

Get a new steering box from Rockauto.
