Default 5.9 tuning/tuner?

Just revuilt my 5.9 magnum in my 01 ram 1500. It's got lots of aftermarket stuff in the engine, too much to list, but almost every mechanical component is new/aftermarket.

I'm looking to get a tuner to put in it, but i want/need one that is customizable due to the aftermarket parts. And I'd prefer to have one with multiple options as far as the tune goes (mileage tune, power tune, towing, etc) The issue is I'm looking to stay as cheap as possible, so it limits options a bit.

I've talked to Sean at SCT, and he said he could only do an Octane tune for it.

Any suggestions as far as what direction to go? Or if I can use a preset tuner with the aftermarket parts?

You might want to take a look at HP Tuners. It allows you to tune your engine with your laptop (they finally providing tuning capability for Chrysler's JTEC a few years ago), however, there is a learning curve with performing self-tuning.

Hemifever and Flyin' Ryan both offer custom tunes, might be worth looking into. But, I think the dogs' suggestion is best. Being able to custom tune your engine to your hearts content.

Awesome, I'll check that out! And hey, never one to shy away from a challenge. Always willing to learn something new.
